Sterling-Equine’s Small Business Spotlight: The Denim Kyote

We at Sterling-Equine, love to shop small, and we want to share some of our favorite small businesses with you. We know these businesses have been hit hard lately, and we want to remind everyone of the importance of shopping small.

A few weeks ago we decided to start doing a small business spotlight of some of our favorites in the equine and western industries.

We started with Flying F Leathers and Arts for our first spotlight, they specialize in amazing custom leather products. Our next spotlight was Roseanna Sales Photography. Roseanna just finished shooting from the arena dirt of the National Finals Rodeo and was the 2017 PRCA Photographer of the year.

Now, we are excited to announce this week’s spotlight; The Denim Kyote.

The Denim Kyote is a baby and children’s store based in Virginia that is known for their one of a kind ranch wear. This small business is owned and operated by two mamas – Chelsey and Ashley.

Owners: Chelsey Nelms & Ashley Gilley

Location: They are based in Virginia, but serve customers all over the country. They will be opening a storefront in Chilhowie, Virginia in just a few months.

Years in Business: Chelsey and Ashley started The Denim Kyote in 2020.

More About Their Products: The Denim Kyote offers one of a kind ranch wear. They are most known for their denim jackets, but also offer hats, knives, outwear, and wild rags.
